About
Hello and thank you for being here!
I help people find their way home to themselves through the body. This means that in addition to working with feelings and thoughts in session, we also listen to sensations and impulses and we honor the way that our nervous systems can shape emotions and perceptions.
I love supporting people who have ADHD/Autism as well as folks struggling with past developmental trauma, anxiety, and/or relational stresses.
I try to show up to this work as myself, as a therapist with boundaries, yes, but also as a quirky human who knows the healing path personally. I bring a warm, conversational, collaborative approach and a spirit of humility, gentleness, and solidarity. I find it fulfilling to care for others’ depths and darkness and I also keep joy and humor close at hand.
I studied Psychological Counseling at Columbia University and my therapeutic approach incorporates Somatic Experiencing, Family Systems and attachment theory. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and can provide services to clients in New York, Virginia, and Maryland.
I identify as a early 30s, white queer woman. I enjoy working with people of all genders, sexualities, and relationship orientations.
